“Santa?” I ask. “Or should I hold your dear deer while you complete your work? I mean, the Reindeer?” I looked at the oddly angry animal pecking right at me to which I simle and say, “ Why should you take in all the Christmas glory with your beautiful appearence, while the poor little Santa just work huh? ” I wink at Santa asking him to clamber down those chimneys while I promise to hold his dear Reindeer for him.
As he leaves me behind with his sledge and the goodly animal, I wonder how he manages to grow chubby year by year, from December to December. With his silver white beard touching his hip he hops down the chimney where he places the gifts near the beautifully decorated fir.
“The beautifully decorated fir-trees are the heart of beauty in any house, Santa” I speak to the lonely dark sky which is painted blue with millions of speckled dots over them. “These trees are now decorated with all gifts, stars and candles that would delight any kid for that matter of fact, and their dark-green branches murmur the Christmas hymns ever since they were planted in the house.”
“Santa, wouldn’t it be aweome if even I get my dear Christmas present ? ” I ask as he comes outta the roof. “And all I want is a tiny little ride along with you in delivering the gifts “, I say. Hugging me into furry cap and kissing me with his rosy lips he said, I could. And then, we few past the houses and across the forests of fir from one house to the other. Oh! How the sound of world sleeping below seems so glories at this every moment, except for an angel-face shines gladly down from every golden star.
As the music reaches my ears, there I see her, an Angel carrying a boat of dreams along with her which leans and trimmers due to the weight of those dreams that she attempts to carry till their cot every night. “Oh! Poor sailor, please stir her well” I shout back the dear Reindeer.
As I peep in at the skylight, I see the moon sheds tender twilights across the dark telling me its almost time now and the snowflakes began to shower down at us, and I fear if someone set this on purpose for our team was so fast. “Take care, Santa. Don’t fall down” I scream as we got down the roof to continue our mission.
As we completed our day’s task and were to leave, we saw him. A tiny boy crying by side the window seeing the Santa! And there went the chubby hero to protect the little heart. “Though you behavior is crusty, you still have a good heart. Your eyes glisten when you see anyone sad my dear. So here’s your gift for making people happy” , said the dear little Santa as he handed over his gift to him.
Chirrup! Chirrup! There we heard a patter of soft footsteps and clatter of a child’s voice. “Speed up Reindeer”, I heard dear Santa scream as we moved up the hill.! “Merry Christmas, little people” I heard him say as the joy-bells rang in every steeple. And in this way, I’ve had my own sweet will come true.!
